Applies to the Baglama Chords, Bouzouki Chords and Ukulele Chords Android apps and to the websites baglama.web.app, bouzouki.web.app and ukulelenator.web.app. Last updated 1 August 2026.
These apps do not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs of any kind.
Your preferences are saved locally on your own device so the app looks and sounds the same next time you open it. Specifically: the colour theme, the interface language, whether chord names are shown in Greek, the master volume, whether a chord strums or sounds as a block, whether tapping a fret plays a note, whether tapping a fret vibrates, which instrument tuning variant is selected, and whether you have already seen the introductory tour.
That is the complete list. It contains nothing that identifies you. It is never sent anywhere — there is no server to send it to. You can erase all of it at any time by clearing the app's storage in Android settings, or your browser's site data on the web.
The Android apps allow standard system backup, so if you have Google backup enabled on your phone, those preferences may be included in your own Google account backup and restored when you set up a new device. This is handled entirely by Android; we never see that data. You can turn it off in your device's backup settings.
The apps request no other permissions. They do not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, files or any other personal information.
Printing a song chart hands the page to Android's own print system (or your browser's on the web). Nothing is uploaded; where the document goes from there is between you and the printer or PDF app you choose.
The three websites are hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, which — like any web server — records ordinary technical request information such as IP address, browser type and time of request. We do not use that data, do not link it to any person, and do not add any analytics or tracking of our own on top of it. This paragraph concerns the websites only; the Android apps make no such requests.
The apps are suitable for all ages. Because no data whatsoever is collected from anyone, nothing is collected from children either.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date at the top.
